NBA 2k21: Next-gen Update 3 Part 1

Fans have been waiting for a new update for the next-gen version of NBA 2K21, there had been complaints about crashes and stability issues. Visual Concepts have finally released the long-awaited patch with a major update for NBA 2K21 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The patch makes several improvements to the game, adds content, and fixes various issues.

Let us start with the gameplay updates. Charge and block animations have been tightened up to prevent unwanted sliding. CPU defenders’ AI has been improved to help them recognize the direction of a screen after it has been flipped. Double-teams can no longer be used as an exploit. The patch fixed various issues that caused visual bugs. The setting will no longer rest after entering and exiting the menu when in a game. Finally, the patch has fixed movement bugs that occurred under certain circumstances.

Update 3 has brought several changes to the game. There have been updates to the following court floors, Philadelphia 76ers Primary, Philadelphia 76ers City Court, Utah Jazz City Court, Brooklyn Nets City Court, Denver Nuggets Statement Court and Denver Nuggets City Court. There have also been updated to the uniforms of the following teams: Philadelphia 76ers (updated City uniform); Chicago Bulls (updated City uniform); New York Knicks (updated City uniform); Cleveland Cavaliers (updated City uniform); New Orleans Pelicans (updated sponsor logo); Los Angeles Clippers (updated sponsor logo); Boston Celtics (updated sponsor logo); Brooklyn Nets (updated sponsor logo); Denver Nuggets (updated sponsor logo); Los Angeles Lakers (updated sponsor logo); Washington Wizards (updated sponsor logo).

The patch has also changed the logo for the Toronto Raptors and corrected a lighting issue in the Orlando Magic arena. It also addressed an issue that prevented classic teams’ shorts to display correctly.
